- The school became an elective Academy in August 2012 and gained full Sixth Form status in September 2013.
- Our Sixth Form provision currently delivers a full A level programme to over 220 students and we opened our new Sixth Form Centre in November 2017.
- We lead the Meadowhead Community Learning Trust, with six Primary Schools, Sheffield College, two Sheffield Universities and twenty national and local businesses.
Values and vision
It is our intention to create and maintain the kind of atmosphere in which young people will feel secure enough to develop their abilities, happy enough to take on new challenges and sufficiently stimulated to achieve their full potential.
Our students are provided with a fantastic learning environment and state-of-the-art facilities. We are committed to "Learning and Achieving Together" and we place a high premium on integrity and courtesy alongside high achieving academic success. We encourage students to be actively aware of the world around them through the curriculum and extra curricular opportunities – the school specialises in the teaching of languages and has an outstanding track record with many national and international links and partnerships.

Some of these are in PDF format - you will need Adobe Reader to open them (this is a free download available from: http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/). Unfortunately some browsers (such as Google Chrome) appear to have problems opening PDFs. Usually right-clicking on the link and then "save target as" to your documents will get around this.
If you still cannot open the document, please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send the word version to you.
