Student Support

We have many ways in which we support students in school and we also like to share information from agencies outside school too.  Please find below links that we hope are helpful:

 Time for You

Has someone important to you died of or been diagnosed with an illness with no cure?

Dealing with the loss of someone important to you is one of the hardest things to experience in life. But you’re not on your own.

Time for You is a series of sessions and workshops run by the Brathay Trust to support young people aged 10-16 affected by the death or knowledge that someone important to them is dying from an incurable illness.

Discounted Swimming Lessons

Sheffield City Council are piloting a new initiative, running from 1st July to 31st December 2019 initially, with their leisure partners SIV and Places Leisure.

If people claim an income related benefit and are eligible for a “Plus” membership card (see venues website for further details) from any of the venues run by either of the partners, then the children within the household will be eligible for discounted swimming lessons.
