Everyone a Writer 2021
We held this annual celebration event via a live stream at the end of term, on 8th July. This year’s theme was ‘ The Year the World Stopped’, with submissions from our students as well as those from our local feeder primary schools - all shortlisted entries have been published in the anthology below.
During the live event, we shared video recordings of readings of the entries and announced the winners in each year group. Well done to all students who wrote so movingly and creatively about their thoughts and experiences of the last year, and many congratulations to the winners.

In the run-up to the celebration, we shared a piece of creative writing from the anthology in our morning form time with students, and you can read the whole anthology below (also downloadable as a PDF at the foot of this page).
We hope you enjoy this stunning collection from our young people, together with the artwork created by Y7 students.
