Our curriculum is designed to ensure that Meadowhead students:

Subject Summary

Drama at Meadowhead School is a creative and practical subject. We explore theatre and take students on a wide-reaching journey through the styles and forms of theatre. The curriculum explores the concepts of creative expression, performance and audience.  It centres on the ability to work collaboratively in a team and to create, develop and perform effective and meaningful Drama.

Extra-curricular / enrichment

The faculty offer a range of extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities. We do a whole school production once every two years as well as a range of smaller concerts and performance events throughout the year. We also work closely with Sheffield Theatres, offering students the opportunity to visit and workshop with them as well as see their live performance work. Students are also given free access to digital theatre plus which offers a range of online theatre recordings, workshops and seminars.
