The exam timetable dates for the 2026 GCSE, AS and A Level exams are based on dates set by each exam board. Students will be given individual timetables closer to the time, and a generic timetable will be published here. Please be aware that the dates can be subject to change and should only be used as a guide. 

GCSE exams in 2026 are scheduled to start from the week commencing Monday, 4 May and finish on Friday, 26 June.  More information can be viewed on BBC Bitesize

A level results day is on Thursday 13 August 2026

GCSE results day is on Thursday 20 August 2026

 

When and how will I receive my examination results?

We expect to follow the arrangements made last year, but please be aware this is subject to confirmation nearer the time:

A Levels  - The school will open to students for the collection of results at 7:45am on Thursday 13^th August. Results will be collected from the common room in the Sixth Form block.

Students who have applied for university will be able to follow the usual process on the UCAS website, using UCAS Track to respond to offers. Please see this page for advice: https://www.ucas.com/undergraduate/results-confirmation-and-clearing/results/results-what-you-need-know.

There will be support available in school for any student who requires advice about the UCAS process. 

Careers support is also on offer for students looking at apprenticeships or work-related options, as well as gap year plans. Members of the Sixth Form team and the careers service will be stationed in the Sixth Form building from 8:00am to 12:00 noon   

GCSEs - The school will open to Year 11 students for the collection of GCSE results at 8:30am on Thursday 20th August. Results will be collected from desks arranged in surname order from the Rosling.
