South Yorkshire Schools Cross Country Championships
Sheffield athletes had a fantastic set of races at the South Yorkshire Schools Cross Country Championships.

A total of 36 Sheffield athletes have qualified to represent South Yorkshire at the English Schools Championships in March - Meadowhead have 2 students who have been invited to represent South Yorkshire , Nicole Y10 and George  Y13.

Meadowhead Scholarship Football Academy - Victory 🤝

A big result for the Scholarship students who came out 7-1 winners in a game against Pro Direct Academy in the sixth form flexi league.

Congratulations to every player - A top performance!

Y7s Into the Final! 
Meadowhead started very brightly in this semi final clash against Silverdale. Meadowhead had many opportunities to go ahead. However, Silverdale were awarded a penalty after 15 minutes but fortunately for Meadowhead they missed the opportunity to go 1-0 up.

Meadowhead quickly took control of the game with Carter scoring from a corner and Thomas striking a great shot into the top corner from the edge of the box to make it 2-0.

Fair play to Silverdale for the hard work and never stopping. They got a reward with a goal to make it 2-1.
Meadowhead managed the game well and booked their place in the Sheffield Schools Cup Final.
📅 All finals Y7-10 will be played at Warminster road on Saturday 23rd March

A friendly fixture on Wednesday for the Y11s ended in a 4-0 victory over some of our Y12 and Y13 students.

Well done to every player on both sides for a great game of football played in the right way 🤝
