A lot of the students dug deep and did themselves and school proud. Special mention goes to the Y8 girls team that were lacking in numbers and still wanted to compete and put in some real gritty performances. Fingers crossed they have qualified for the South Yorkshire Finals. 🏆
Y8 Boys Football
•In a tight game on Monday, the boys showed nerves of steel again to make it through to the South Yorkshire cup semi-finals. The game finished 1-1 against Hall Cross with our team winning 4-3 on penalties. Goal and man of the match: O Wilson 🏆

U15 Girls Indoor Cricket
•The girls competed in the South Yorkshire Finals at EIS on Tuesday representing Sheffield. They played a number of schools from around South Yorkshire and had some really close games. They were runner-up and have qualified to play in the Yorkshire Finals at Headingley in March. Some great performances and a massive team effort by all the girls. A lovely group who always give 100% for their school. 🏆
Boys Football
•We progress to the semi-final of the South Yorkshire schools cup after beating Wales High School 4-0 in the quarter-finals. A fantastic display from all 14 players. The game was played in a perfect way and Meadowhead gave a great account of themselves, playing some great football as well!
•A first half hat trick from F. Gordon and then topped off by a J. Wilson goal was enough to win the game against Wales High School . A clean sheet is always a big positive as well!
The 3 boys, pictured right, plus Franklyn (who went football training!) all tied for man of the match from Mr Whitaker!
