Sports Results - week ending 3rd December 2021
Football dominated this week’s round of sport’s action with all year groups having a match. Both Y11 and Y8 boy’s football teams had cup action with the year 7, year 8, year 9 and year 10 girl’s football teams also having tournament action. The Y7 interform football competition also ran again this week, Y7’s make sure to turn up next Tuesday for girls and Thursday for boys to add to your form’s total points!
Year 7:
Well done to our Y7 and Y8 girls who participated in the EFL Utilita Girls Cup competition for Sheffield United on Friday. Our Y7 team placed 3rd overall after a thrilling penalty shootout.

Year 8:
Well done to our Y8 girls who participated in the EFL Utilita Girls Cup competition for Sheffield United on Friday. Our Y8 team placed 2nd overall, narrowly losing out to Westfield School in their final game.

The Y8 boys football team lost 5-0 on Thursday in the National Cup. The score wasn’t a reflection of the game it was and the boys should be very proud of their achievements reaching the last 64 in the country!

Year 9:
The Y9 girl’s football team played in a 5-a-side tournament on Tuesday evening. A fantastic performance from the girls who won 4 out of 4 games!!

The Y10 girls football team played in a 5-a-side tournament on Tuesday evening. A fantastic performance from the girls who won 4 out of 4 games!!

Year 11:
On Tuesday 30th November, the year 11s we’re successful in their Sheffield schools cup quarter final. They put in a professional performance against a tough Tapton side. All 16 players put in a great shift and represented the school amazingly.
The Y11s are now 1 game away from the final of the oldest football trophy in the world - Clegg Shield.
