Discover Palestine
On Monday 5th of February Meadowhead School was proud to host a "Discover Palestine" Event, organised by the Palestine Support group made up of several Y8-13 pupils.
Their aim was to celebrate different aspects of Palestinian culture such as artwork, embroidery, fashion, geography and music, alongside some discussion on the current humanitarian crisis and its roots.
The group was delighted by the support, kindness and attendance Meadowhead pupils and staff showed - over 100 of you turned up!
Staff and students enjoyed a paper-based quiz, finding the answers from information around the room, as well as trying traditional pastries and hearing from both staff and students who shared their stories.
