Meadowhead School

Meadowhead SchoolAcademy Trust

Thank you Cerys!

At the beginning of November we said goodbye to the school’s Careers Leader, Cerys Evans, who is leaving to work on careers in the film industry.

We are incredibly grateful for Cerys’ ten years of service as an adviser and seven years as a Career Leader. She has undoubtedly “made a difference” during that time; making Meadowhead a flagship school in the city for careers education and facilitating so many successful applications and outcomes for individual students. We know so many students, families and alumni will have stories of how Cerys has provided wise and sound guidance when it was needed most.

As a token of our collective thanks, Sixth Form Student President Eve P-M. and Vice-President Sam E. presented Cerys with flowers and a framed certificate as part of her final Sixth Form briefing.

The school’s new careers leader, Leighton, will begin in December. In the meantime, students, families, and alumni should use the email or alternatively, current students can visit the Careers Office in the Rosling to access support.
