Thanks to Ahead Partnership for this week’s Speed Networking event which gave every Y8 student a chance to speak to multiple employers about their work. We were joined by 17 employers from a range of green and digital industries.

The students really stepped up to the challenge: ‘The students were an absolute credit to the school both in respect of their behaviour, their engagement and the enthusiasm for asking questions.’  

Students enjoyed taking part, telling us ‘I learnt a lot about other jobs that I had never heard of and what they each do’; ‘It was good to know what the working space was like and to get used to what a typical day looks like for people with different jobs.’; and ‘I liked that you were able to talk to so many different people.’
