The possession of a mobile phone or other unauthorised electronic device is not allowed in an exam. Students will be subject to penalty and possible disqualification.
The JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications, the body responsible for Examinations) state that the possession of a mobile phone or other unauthorised electronic device is not allowed - even if you do not intend to use it. You will be subject to penalty and possible disqualification from the exam/qualification.
We are reminding all students and families that devices with potential technological / web enabled access such as mobile phones, iPods, MP3/4 players, smart watches and fitness trackers are not permitted.
Ideally, we would prefer that such items are not brought to school at all, however, if they are, they should be turned off and be placed in the bag and coat storage area at the front of each row in the examination room.
