Y6 Open Evening on Thursday 2nd October.

The growing popularity and reputation of the school has meant we have welcomed the largest ever group of prospective students and families to learn more about our school. On the Open Evening itself, after a presentation from the headteacher and students in the Assembly Hall, families were able to tour our amazing facilities and talk to our expert staff.

Our Open events have showcased our “make a difference” approach: a rigorous, demanding curriculum that combines with a focus on developing each and every child. Our students are “confident, lively and kind” (Ofsted) and, from the students presenting in the Hall to the many who came to support in curriculum areas, we hope those families who attended got a greater understanding of what it is like to be a student at our school and Sixth Form.

If you were unable to make the evening and would like to arrange a tour with a member of senior staff, or have further questions you would like to ask, please contact transition26@meadowhead.sheffield.sch.uk.

Sixth Form Open Evening

The growing popularity and reputation of the sixth form meant it was our busiest yet. After a presentation from the headteacher, head of sixth form and students in the Assembly Hall, families were toured by current students and met our expert staff.

The event showcased the values that make our sixth form so successful: a focus on excellent teaching, embracing the challenge that Level 3 courses bring, support to help students meet those challenges, ambition that students will go onto fantastic outcomes thanks to our outstanding tradition of results and a focus on being part of a fun and vibrant community.

If you were unable to make the evening and would like to arrange a tour with a member of the sixth form team, or have further questions you would like to ask, please contact sixthform@meadowhead.sheffield.sch.uk.

We look forward to receiving applications later in the academic year – the deadline for applications through Sheffield Progress is January 31st. Students from Derbyshire can download an application form from the Sixth Form section of the school website.
