We were delighted to welcome Ellie Colton as guest speaker at our annual presentation of GCSE Certificates on Thursday 14th November. Ellie is a former student and presents the ‘Hello Friday’ show on BBC Radio Sheffield as well as studying for a degree in Journalism at Sheffield Hallam University. Her advice to students is to ‘start young and take every extra-curricular opportunity you can’.
We were proud to have a room full of last year’s Y11 students, many of whom are currently studying at our Sixth Form. As well as the presentation of certificates, we congratulated students who received the following awards: Lewis Allen & Elizabeth Brammer- Service Awards, Cori-Leigh Frith – Progress Award, Miriam Levy – Achievement, Adam Mitchell – Phil Mintoft Science Award and James Smith- Bryan Marsden History Award.
