Meadowhead Together holds annual Business and Community Forum

headteacher introduces the event

We were delighted to welcome colleagues from businesses and charitable organisations to our latest Meadowhead Together Business Forum on Friday 24th October 2025.

Led by the school’s charitable arm, Meadowhead Together, the event focussed on strengthening existing partnerships with employers and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Guests heard from Kate Josephs [Chief Executive, Sheffield City Council] and Alexis Krachai [President, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce], about the future direction of Sheffield and its labour market while Kieron Loftus from the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority presented on the evolution of modern work experience.

Guests also had a chance to hear the perspective of a fantastic and articulate group of student presenters about their interactions with employers - Izzy and Riley in Y13 as well as Eunice, Roy and Cara in Y11.
