Students get into the Halloween Spirit!
STEM club students have been getting into the Halloween spirit by making spooky magnetic slime.
They learned about cross-linked polymers and ferromagnetism, then experimented to find the right properties and consistency. They were able to make slime that would follow and even swallow their magnets, and had lots of fun in the process!
In the library, Y7 library helpers had fun creating a display for Halloween whilst also promoting some spooky reads for half-term!
