Thank you for Making a Difference

During the final weeks of the academic year, Meadowhead students have been saying a personal and heartfelt thank you to teachers and support staff for making a difference with their commitment, knowledge and support.
As part of this, students have said a special thank you to long-serving staff members who are leaving the school this summer:
Chris Ridley who has spent 23 years at Meadowhead as a science teacher as well as playing his part in so much of school life: as mentor of teachers, as a senior leader, as the public face of the science faculty leading incredible experiments at Open Evenings, as quiz master, and even as a royal body double in rehearsals for the recent visit.

Carol James
Carol James who, after over 40 years as a careers adviser and 20 years working with Sheffield schools, completed her final advice meeting at Meadowhead this week before retirement – thank you from every student you have helped in your long career.
Sue Beres who has been a kind, supportive and vital part of the school’s reception team for the last twelve years – colleagues, students and their families will miss your reassuring presence deeply.
Lee Williamson who has been a design and technology technician for over 11 years and has provided invaluable expertise to countless student projects and courseworks in that time.
