Well done everyone for their sporting efforts and achievements!
Huge congratulations to our Y8 Rounders team who came out on top at the beginning of June in the triangular, winning both games against King Ecgbert’s School and Firth Park Academy!
Their fantastic communication, unshakeable determination and team spirit shone through from start to finish! The girls have been committed to practice this term - a level of dedication which has clearly paid off!!
Congratulations to Aalaiyah for her success in the Inter Squadron Athletics Event, representing 366 Squadron Air Cadets.
Aalaiyah placed an amazing 2nd in both the 100m and 200m races!
Well done to our incredible Y8 athletes who competed in the Sheffield Federation athletics event just before half term! Some fantastic performances across the board and some brilliant results to top it off- you did Meadowhead proud.
A huge thank you as well to our brilliant Sports Leaders who supported the event on the Shot Put and Long Jump stations - your help was invaluable!
Huge shoutout to our amazing Y10 Sports Leaders who did a fantastic job leading stations at the KS1 Mini Olympics at the beginning of June at the Canon Medical Arena!
Your energy, leadership and encouragement brought smiles, confidence and fun for every young participant A big thank you to @forgessp for all your support with our Sports Leaders.
Our Year 10 Sports Leaders also had a fantastic time supporting the Lower Meadow Primary School Sports Day.
They cheered on the younger pupils, helped run events, and even joined in for a race to end the day on a high!
We’ve got plenty more Sports Days lined up in the coming weeks — our leaders will be heading back to their former primary schools to support, inspire, and make lasting memories.
