Kate Fewkes (University Student)

Kate FewkesKate Fewkes - Class of 2014
Sheffield Hallam University

"Since finishing my A Levels at Meadowhead sixth form, I now study Biology at Sheffield Hallam University. Although I am only 6 weeks into my degree I can't believe how much I am enjoying both the academic and social side of university. I've made some fantastic friends on my course and also in my halls of residence and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings. Apart from the course I have signed up to volunteer abroad next summer with the hopes of conducting conservation work with different animals in South Africa."  November 2014

We ask our former students for one piece of advice which they would give to themselves as a 16 year old. Kate's is:

"Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone once in a while and never think that you're the only person that is unsure of what they want to do. As long as you're doing something you enjoy, you're doing something worthwhile."
