"I do not fear computers. I fear the lack of them."
Isaac Asimov

ICT is an extremely popular subject within Meadowhead.  In Year 7 and 8, all students access one lesson per week dedicated to the study of ICT/Computing as part of their curriculum.

The focus is very much on the application of new software, including Multimedia and programming software whilst ensuring that the curriculum guidelines for ICT/Computing are covered.

In Years 9, 10 and 11, all students can opt to take a course in Creative IMedia or Computer Science that matches their ability and learning style.

In Years 12 and 13, we offer the students the opportunity to study BTEC Level 3 in Information Technologies or A-Level Computer Science.

Throughout the school, ICT is used to enhance the learning opportunities for students in all areas of the curriculum.  The ICT department holds 4 after school clubs per week in which students can complete work from any subject area.
