Sheffield Schools City Championship Cricket

The year 7 cricket squad narrowly missed out on becoming Sheffield Schools City Champions by one run. It came down to the final ball and their opponents, Fir Vale were able to achieve the one run needed to overcome Meadowhead School's 86 runs scored in their batting innings.

Fir Vale scored 87 from 15.5 overs, exceeding Meadowheads score by one run.

 

All students that represented the cricket squad did extremely well, not just for the finals day but in the games leading up to the final as well.

 

The year 7's are a really good squad that work well together and the school is extremely proud of them.
