Y11 students ended their leavers celebrations in style with their prom on Friday 30th June. Students truly dressed to impress at this event, held at the Crowne Plaza Royal Victoria Hotel, and a fantastic night was had by students and staff alike. Well done to the year group for all their incredible efforts this summer.

Y13's Leaver's Briefing 2023

On Tuesday 9th May, we formally celebrated Y13’s achievements over the past two years in their Leavers’ briefing. Form tutors, Ms Robinson and Mrs Grewal-Joy spoke about the year group’s fantastic achievements and their varied and exciting plans for the future, and each subject chose one or two students for special recognition.

Well done everyone, and we wish our Y13s all the best in their upcoming exams.

Diamond Awards - December 2022

On Thursday 15th December, students from Y8-Y11 received their Diamond and Double Diamond Awards.

This event is all about recognizing students hard work, effort, talent and good deeds – as a school, we strive to ensure these never go unnoticed. In particular, the diamond awards recognize a select group of students who have been successful over a number of months and years.

Students who have achieved 500 combined reward points received a diamond award. Students who have achieved a combined total of 1000 reward points receive a double diamond award.

Families were able to watch the celebration, which was streamed live online.

A Level Certificate Evening 2022

It was wonderful to catch up with our record-breaking Y13 students as they came back to Meadowhead to collect their A Level and BTEC certificates.

Students and parents enjoyed festive refreshments and Mr Beigel entertained us with his Christmas record collection before saying a few words about how proud he was of their achievements.

We are always delighted to hear about how our alumni are getting on and welcome opportunities to reconnect.

GCSE Certificates & Awards Ceremony 2022

The evening, held on Thursday 10th November at the Double Tree by Hilton Sheffield Park Hotel, was a chance for students to celebrate and let families show how proud they are of their son or daughter’s achievements.

They collected their GCSE Certificates in a year of record-breaking results for Meadowhead students, and we were delighted to present additional awards for effort, contribution and attitude.

Class of 2022 Celebrations

Our Y11s celebrated the end of their GCSE exams on Wednesday 29th June - a last chance to be all together in school! Students were presented with their Record of Achievement folders in their form rooms and then gathered in the hall one final time for speeches and musical entertainment.

We were fortunate to have good weather and take the opportunity to be outside, signing T-shirts, eating pop-corn and visiting the photobooth.

We wish our Y11s all the very best for results day (on Thursday 25th August), and in the next steps in their education.

Diamond Award Ceremony May 2022

Over 70 students were presented with either a Diamond or Double Diamond Award in this final award ceremony of this academic year. We celebrated the efforts, progress, positive attitude and achievements of our students, and the event was live-streamed, enabling families and friends to watch and be part of this proud moment.

We celebrated the efforts, progress and achievements our students have made in yet another wonderful Diamond Award Ceremony on 8th February 2022. The event was live-streamed, enabling families and friends to watch and be part of this proud moment.

Many congratulations and well done to all of these students (66 were presented with an award today), and especially to those who received their second Diamond Award - their Double Diamond!

Congratulations all our students who celebrated their Diamond Award Ceremony on Tuesday 16th. We live-streamed the event, so families at home could watch and share this special moment. This is always an occasion to be extra proud of our students as we recognise the consistent effort they put in, and progress and achievements they make.

Very well done to all our students who received a Diamond or Double Diamond Award at the end of May 2021 in a series of special ceremonies broadcast live to family and friends. Thanks to all our families who supported them by watching the live stream – we even had relatives viewing in Australia!

On Tuesday 2^nd July, Y13 students and their teachers celebrated the end of exams with the annual Leavers’ Dinner at the Double Tree by Hilton hotel. It was an enjoyable, uplifting and sometimes emotional evening that marked the end of up to seven years of association with the school. We wish the Y13s all the best for the future!

Octagon Presentation 2017

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed Madeleine Robinson to be our guest speaker at this year’s Octagon Presentation of GCSE certificates to last year’s Y11 students on Tuesday 14th November. Madi is a former Meadowhead student and Controller of Corporate, Legal and Governance at Channel 4.
