Our school library has many books to support students - both fiction and non-fiction. They can be a powerful way to understand ourselves and others:

“As someone who has struggled (still do) with my own mental health, I have often found books a brilliant way of not only taking myself out of my own head, but of finding other people who I can relate to.

Not only this, but it gives me the chance to learn about different perspectives and gain a wider understanding of what others might be going through.”  Josh Silver, Mental Health Nurse and author of ‘HappyHead’

Evie has OCD and trying to make a fresh start - a funny and poignant story of mental illness, friendships and feminism.

A powerful graphic novel about the importance of finding friends and belonging.

Rumi Seto spends a lot of time worrying. What to eat, where to go, who to love. This book is full of hope whilst tackling themes of anxiety and grief
