Sports Results week ending 19th November 2021
Following last weeks’ busy week of fixtures, this week saw just as many taking place at both Meadowhead and away venues. Matches for our Y7’s and Y8’s boy’s teams begun the week with the U13 girls’ team also having cup action in the 3rd round of the National Cup. Year 7:
• Y7 boy’s football team had another fixture in the South Yorkshire cup against. Horizon school. Unfortunately, they’ve been knocked out of the South Yorkshire cup after losing 3-1 to a talented Horizon school.

• The U13 girls played in Round 3 of the National Cup away to Kirk Balk school. It was a great game and we showed excellent fight and determination and the 4-1 loss does not reflect the quality of play. Well done to all involved!

Year 8:
• Our Y8 football team put in a good effort but were on the losing side to Horizon in a friendly game on Monday.

Year 9:
• The Year 9s played in 2 fixtures this week and won both of them! A fantastic week for the Y9 group and it was 2 very professional performances. This now sees them into the last 8 of the South Yorkshire cup and into the last 4 of the Sheffield schools cup.
• The Sheffield schools cup game was 2-0 this week against a strong all saints team.

Year 11:
• Y11 boys played very well in their South Yorkshire schools cup game this Monday. They came out 6-0 winners against Horizon. They are now through to the quarterfinals.
